things that happen on rainy days

it's rainy today.

1. things and people get wet.

2. i become insanely fond of my bed

3. somewhere, someone sings "rain, rain, go away..."

4. i become more random and drink lots of tea

5. traffic is weird

ok, i'm out of ideas.

ode to my bed:
bed, sweet bed
give rest to my head
birth dreams from things i have read
and others have said
stay soft, til we meat again, sweet bed

i've got to get out of here.

I love the rain...some think of it as being "gloomy," but I think of it as relaxing and cleansing. So, let me add to your list:

    When it rains:
-the air smells fresh and clean
    -my hair gets frizzy
-People begin to feel poetic and write songs
-KFC's chicken pot pies are SOOO good
    -the days are stress-free

    You're cool, Cheryl! Very cool.

    ah, thanks.
i love rain, but i discovered today that rain is cruel when i am at work. i love rain at night when i sleep or on weekends at home or at coffee shops, or in the evening hanging out with friends. but not at work with florescent lighting.

kfc pot pies? you are funny.

I dont like a rainy day, I love a good stormy day. Todays rainy day....well first rainy day that has sucked for me in a very long time. But a good rain at night does do well for sleeping.

I love rainy days as long as there are sunny days in between them. Too many rainy days and I begin to get depressed...

Few things in life are better than a stormy night, a cozy house, and a good book.
